Every day we return to this world from the world of dreams. That in and of itself is a magical act. Our body communicates its needs to us and generally, we comply with its demands. Empty the bladder, brush the teeth, bathe, dress, drink the coffee, eat something. We do most of this by rote however ALL of it can be a magical routine if we’d only pay attention. The most practical magic of all is awareness, followed by intention. When we pay attention to what’s happening around us we will see opportunities that we may have let slip by, whether its at work, or in the kitchen, or in our private practices. Become aware of how we do, and can practice magic every day. We imbue certain things with power and we take power away from other things. We shapeshift, we spell cast, we’re drawn to certain things, and repelled by others. Learn how to plan your magic so that it doesn’t have to swim upstream, so that you can use the energy of the natural cycles to direct intention; to read signs and spirits, to practice divination. Learn how to take what is intangible and make it tangible through sigils, talismans, and dream interpretation.
