Dekoven Center - Assembly Hall - Racine, WI 10am - 5pm
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow don't be alarmed now, it's just a spring clean for the May Queen. Yes there are two paths you can go by but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on... ~Led Zepplin
The Vernal Equinox has finally arrived!! We are well on our way to longer days and shorter nights, sweeter birdsong, fragrant breezes, bluer skies, and buds, bursting with promise. We throw open our windows to rid our homes of stale air. We shake out the winter dust from pillows, rugs, and blankets, roll up our sleeves and busy ourselves in the "Rite of Spring Cleaning!!"
But WAIT!!
As People of the Earth, how do we go about this task in an environmentally friendly, Earth conscious way?
Julie & Peter Watts say; "Get off the corporate cleaners and learn how to make your own safe and effective plant and mineral based household cleaning products!" Using simple natural, non-toxic ingredients like apple cider vinegar, citrus, and baking soda, make Bath and shower scrub, Window cleaner, Liquid laundry soap and more, you can prepare your home for the arrival of the May Queen.
Also in preparation for the May Queen, we will have a ritual for cleaning out resentments, disappointments, heartbreak, depression and other residual winter ick that collect in the corners of our hearts and minds through the winter. "There's still time to change the road you're on."
Join us at the beautiful Dekoven Retreat Center in Racine, WI, for an Enchanted Spring celebration! We will be in Assembly Hall again this time - right on the lake front.
